Hiring Manager: the first human every candidate meets at 8x
Every application, across every role, lands with you first. You'll filter the inbound, run the first call, and give the team a fast, sharp read on who's worth their time. As hiring scales across 50+ countries, you're the one keeping quality high while volume climbs.
What you'll own:
- Screening applicants across all open roles and deciding who advances
- Running first-round calls: a real vibe check on energy, communication, and fit
- Giving hiring managers a clear, honest verdict on each candidate
- Keeping the pipeline moving so no one good slips through

High EQ, sharp judgment, fast
You read people well and can say why in a sentence. You can tell early whether someone has the spark we're after. You handle high volume without dropping candidates, you make calls and stand behind them, and you care about the candidate experience as much as the outcome.
- High emotional intelligence: you understand people quickly and deeply
- Strong communicator, in writing and on camera
- Comfortable making judgment calls at speed
- Organized, reliable, relentless about follow-through
